The orchid is native to Southeast Asia, the Himalayas, Malesia, and other regions.

It is found in: Borneo, Cambodia, China South-Central, China Southeast, Hainan, Himalayas East, India ( Assam), Jawa, Laos, Lesser Sunda Islands, Malaya, Nepal, Nicobar Islands, Philippines, Sulawesi, Sumatera, Thailand, Vietnam.


Medicinal plant

The Flickingeria fimbriata plant reportedly has the Hepatoprotection properties, the ability to prevent damage to the liver.Template:Medcn
